Gio Ponti, the designer of the d 754.1 rug was an architect, painter, teacher, and author aside from a designer. The original design of this rug was created in 1954, but can now be reproduced for private homes under Molteni&C.

The d 754.1 rug consists of four colors, untampered from cow hides. The colors include white, black, and two shades of browns. The top finish of the rug is made from this pony leather while the bottom finish is linen blend cloth.

The rug dimensions are W 94 1/2″ x H 96 1/2″.
