Freud, designed for Zanotta in 2002 by Todd Bracher, is an amusing and intelligent view of an everyday piece of furniture, the couch. It won the ID Award and is also in the collection of the Freud Museum in Vienna. Freud is a a sofa, daybed, or lounge chair and depicts the full range of motion from sitting to reclining. This unique sofa comes in several colors and fabrics and leathers and is also available with left or right side versions. The couch sits atop chrome-plated steel legs attached to a steel frame and is made with polyurethane foam, a nylon non-removable cover, and a removable external cover of fabric or leather upholstery.
