The precisely constructed minimalist exposed wooden frame of Benjamin Hubert’s Shell sofa continues the minimalist aesthetic that begins with the one piece upholstery and shapely polyurethane foam cushioning. Designed for Italian furniture company Moroso, The sofa made its debut during Milan Design Week 2014. Utilizing as little materials as possible, the upholstery uses a zipper to fasten itself to the seating area perimeter, making removal, cleaning, and replacement as simple as the sofa itself.
