With Tyde, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec have developed a new family of height-adjustable tables. While stand-up/sit-down tables are generally only available as single workstations, Tyde extends this concept to offer the benefits of working while standing and sitting to double workstations and conference tables.

Tyde incorporates special features to address the acoustic challenges of today’s open plan offices. The electric height adjustment motor is especially quiet and concealed under the table beneath a sound-absorbing cover. In addition, the newly developed screens in acoustic polyester fleece work effectively with the cover to dampen ambient noise.

Tyde caters to individual requirements. Desks in various sizes can be outfitted to accommodate the required functions. Users can choose from three height adjustment options: an electric motor for stand-up/sit-down tables and a hand crank or manual locking mechanism for seated versions. Additional elements such as technical beams, various screens, CPU holders and other accessories allow for further individualisation.
