As the most powerful Rolls-Royce make in history, the Wraith is a formidable automobile in the most luxurious sense of the word. Combining sublime design aesthetics with the latest technology, the 2014 Wraith takes contemporary driving to a whole new level.

The British automakers have crafted a striking appearance for the Wraith, borrowing from classic Rolls-Royce features and building on them to the finest details. The aerodynamic lines and wide rear track reinforce the athleticism of this model, while the fastback silhouette emits power. The frameless coach doors, twin exhausts and slightly repositioned Spirit of Ecstasy combine to give Wraith the dramatic essence it exudes. A configurator allows personalization of the design process by giving the consumer customizable interior and exterior options.

The interior of the Wraith is stacked with the finest materials (Phantom-grade natural grain leather, soft wool carpets, Canadel paneling) to offer sophisticated comfort and stylishly harbor you from the outside world. The most magical touch might be the 1,340 fibre optics that can be sewn into the headliner to create a personal star-filled sky.

Powering the glamorous Wraith is a potent 6.6 litre, twin turbo-charged V12 engine concealed behind the deeply set Pantheon grille. Delivering 624 bhp with 800 Nm of torque, it powers from 0-62 mph in 4.6 seconds, an impressive feat given its claimed curb weight sits at over 5200 lbs. The Wraith maintains an electronically controlled air suspension, credited for creating the signature “magic carpet ride.”

Satellite aided transmission uses GPS data and the navigation system to scan the road and automatically choose the optimum gear of the eight speed power transmission to ensure a smooth ride. Also included is a new Spirit of Ecstasy Rotary Controller that features a touchpad to easily access the internet and music, call contacts or find directions. The touchpad boasts ‘pull and pinch’ functionality mimicking that of a smart phone, and offers further convenience and safety through use of voice command technology.

Rolls-Royce employed the direction of co-founder Sir Henry Royce in developing the Wraith, to “Take the best that exists and make it better: when it does not exist, design it.” And so was made this car, to “push the boundaries of design and engineering.”
