Andrey Vostrikov wanted to use design to solve a common problem. He felt that household kettles rely too much on unnecessary metallic resources– and could use a facelift. Vostrikov’s new, efficient design makes production both cheaper and more stylish– while still performing like the metal kettles of yesteryear. This electric kettle eschews all the frivolous accoutrements for pure utilitarian functionality. It’s designed to do its job as efficiently as possible without sacrificing too much style.
