MVS chaise. Maarten van severen.

Blog Widget by LinkWithin

This straight, angle-y chaise designed by Maarten Van Severen for Vitra doesn’t appear to be the most natural choice if comfort is forefront in the mind. However, the materials used in the construction of this highly structural, minimalist chaise were selected to optimize cozy reclining.
Reduced to its simplest form, the MVS chaise is made of polyurethane foam possessing an upholstered feel, designed to subtly submit to the body’s contours. The chair rests atop a stainless steel base that allows for easy posturing of a sitting or lying position. The height-adjustable headrest cushion of MVS comes in leather or soft polyurethane foam.
Basic black for this basic, yet extraordinary, chaise.
Dimensions: 867 × 457 × 1540 mm.
Further details can be obtained through MVS manufacturer Vitra.
