Part of the Hyperlite Mountain Gear Packs collection, the Porter is an ultra light, multi-faceted backpack that packs major capacity into its frameless shape. Its crowning glory is the versatility it offers up for trip-customization, compliments of the multitude of attachment points and accessories.
Weighing a mere 30.6 oz., the Porter is constructed of the durable, waterproof cuben fiber/polyester proprietary material the brand is known for given its durability, strength and water resistance. Equipped for comfort and efficiency, the streamlined design of the Porter features a padded, wrap-around hip belt to keep the pack firmly in place, and allowing the weight to be carried by the waist rather than the shoulders. Compression straps help maintain stability, while external attachment points on the Porter allow for the support of additional gear. This pack now comes with the option to add two Spectra Hardline, zippered hip belt pockets.
Other features include: a roll-top closure system, side and top compression, an adjustable sternum strap, fully padded shoulder straps with anti-microbial mesh, a padded back panel, and a double-reinforced bottom.
The Porter is available in two versions depending on the size of your needs: 3400 cu/in or the 4400 cu/in. The Porter 4400 (expedition) offers all the same features as the 3300, outside of being 1000 cu/in larger and weighing 31.1 oz.
Both packs are available in small, medium, large and tall sizes.
