Gentle table. Eric degenhardt.

Blog Widget by LinkWithin

A table with a telling name. The tabletop is a soft rectangle with a ‘gentle’ edge, propped up on a light support with two forked legs made from solid ash or chestnut. The tabletop’s banded core is coated in a vacuum process with a layer of linoleum or veneer resulting in a gentle streamlined edge and an extraordinary plasticity rarely found in tabletops.

The table’s substructure is pure minimalism made of solid wood. Gentle and stable. The design in linoleum provides a very durable yet smooth surface and is available in nickel gray, black, dark green or beige. For the veneer versions we use chestnut and black ash. The Gentle tables are 200 or 250 centimeters long.
