Designed by Boje Estermann, this collapsible strainer for the kitchen is a simple, functional and practical object that only takes up space when it’s in use. The material is flexible enough to be folded again and again, hard enough to keep its shape and durable enough to resist the weight of pasta or fresh cooked potatoes. When folded up, it is less than an inch thick. Made of FDA-approved thermal red plastic elastomer, it can withstand the heat of boiling water and is dishwasher safe. It is even possible to wash it folded in the dishwasher to save space.
