The Series 7, designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1955, is the most sold chair in Fritz Hansen’s history and maybe in all furniture history. It is made from a pressure molded veneer and a further development of the Ant chair. This lightweight and stackable chair uses a lamination technique to give it the iconic shape. The chair is available in a very wide range of colors and finishes with both fabric or leather upholstery and wood qualities. Series 7 is also available with a chrome or satin chromed base in three various heights.
