Herman Miller partners with Studio 7.5 to create a chair that is almost contradictory in terms, a more supportive chair with less material and fewer adjustments with a better fit. The 567 holes in the backrest create flex zones for an appropriate level of flexibility for support and adjustment and allows the body to breathe and keeps you cool. The durable material maintains it’s strength but is pliable and elastic, conforming to different sizes, postures, and movements. The PostureFit feature will keep your lower back properly aligned so you don’t slouch and the Harmonic tilt mechanism keeps you in control and in balance. Although it comes in plenty of muted colors it is completely green in the way its constructed from 42 percent recycled materials and can be easily dissembled with 96 percent of it recyclable. This oxymoron of a chair won several awards including the FIRA Ergonomics Excellence Award, Best of NeoCon award, and was named by Fortune magazine’s one of the 25 Best Products of the Year.
