Bertoia asymmetrical chaise. Harry bertoia.

Blog Widget by LinkWithin

The Bertoia Asymmetrical Chaise was designed by Henry Bertoia himself, in the early 1950s. However, the chair never made in to production until 2005 when Knoll decided to manufacture this incredible lounge chair. The Bertoia Lounge has received many awards for the brilliant use of welded steel rods. It is available in chrome for indoors and white bonded rilsan finish or with a semi-upholstered and upholstered versions. These forms are an extension of Bertoia’s experimentation with open forms and metal work in his sculptures.
