The Swedish design team Front designed this enticing side table for Porro that challenges gravity. Balancing Boxes consists of a series of irregularly overlapping painted black or white sheet metal boxes that look as though they are balancing through space. The connected boxes and inclinations give each view a different perspective while the empty spaces in each box allow the user to vary and think about which objects should be stored in each box.
