A family-owned company featuring exceptional American design since 1951, Nambé makes museum-quality art a part of daily life, combining fine materials with hand craftsmanship and design from the world’s most esteemed designers. Made from a remarkable metal alloy unique to Nambé and a 15-step casting process, Nambé metal designs have the beauty and luster of silver, the strength of iron and yet will not crack, chip or tarnish. In 1999, Nambé added full-lead, mouth-blown crystal to its collection. In 2007, the company launched its first collections of flatware and dinnerware products. Today, Nambé boasts a vase assortment of serving pieces, giftware, lighting, frames, flatware and barware – art designed for everyday living.
SANTA FE, N.M. – Nambé is making it easier for customers to keep Nambé pieces out year-round with the introduction of Nambé Gourmet.
The award-winning design company’s serving bowls and vases have functioned as focal points for dining and living rooms for more than 60 years. With these nine new items, Nambé’s museum-quality craftsmanship will add modern style to the kitchen as well.
Designers Steve Cozzolino, Neil Cohen, Wei Young and Lou Henry developed beverage dispensers, tea kettles, a canister set, a kitchen tool holder (with tools) and a towel holder – all with curving modern lines and the lustrous shine associated with Nambé.
The Twist Canister is a one-of-a-kind container with a style all its own—and endless uses. The large size is a natural for frequently-used staples like pasta, rice, breakfast grains and more, as well as cookies and candies around holiday time.
A classic gem for the countertop: the petite version of our Twist Canister is great for cookies and candies, as well as dried legumes. Or keep it out on the kitchen table filled with frequently-used spices like cinnamon, cinnamon sticks or dried herbs from the garden. The wooden lid adds visual warmth and a snug seal. Ergonomic handle makes it easy to carry and open. At just over half a foot tall, this size is especially nice for small households, and makes a lovely wedding gift.
Award-winning designer Neil Cohen has taken yet another everyday object and elevated it to design triumph. The Loop Towel Holder is a bold, bright, statuesque way to anchor and dispense paper towels. And it’s more than just looks—functionality has been improved on here, too. The arm anchors the paper towel roll with the just-right amount of pressure, so that you can pull and rip with one hand. Upper loop makes it easy to handle, easy to fill, easy to love.
