The Arco light is an adjustable floor lamp designed by Achille & Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1962 and currently manufactured by Flos, a designer lighting outlet. The appropriately named Arco, translating to arch or bow, can stand up to 95″ tall and the light can be extended from 75″ to 79″ away from solid marble base. The base being made of marble means no two Arco lights are exactly alike. The stainless steel “stem” contains the adjustment capabilities and elegantly arches above the spun aluminum reflector which utlizes a standard 100W light bulb to produce both direct and indirect lighting.
