Philippe Starck and Eugeni Quitllet’s Masters Chair for Kartell is inspired by the three most famous chairs in contemporary design. The outlines of the Jacobsen’s “7-series” Saarinen’s “Tulip Armchair” and Eames’ “Eiffel Chair” weave themselves in polycarbonate to create a new design to reflect the current times. Supported with four slender legs the chaire is both roomy and comfortable. The void created with the meeting of curved line gives this chair its destictive character. The Masters chair comes in three colored version: white, red and black.
