Hot achille. Ingo maurer.

Blog Widget by LinkWithin

Ingo Maurer designed the Hot Achille as a homage to Achille Castiglioni’s 1971 Parentesi light. The Hot Achille is a contemporary floor to ceiling light that hangs from a coaxial cable pulled by a counterweight, which keeps the cable tight. This brilliant lamp contains a freely rotatable reflector and a variable dimmer. The height of the light can be adjusted on the cable. Made of stainless steel, aluminum reflector, and a protective glass cover, this light is a beautiful focal point of any corner in need of some illumination.
