The family designed by Tokyo based Junya Ishigami for Living Divani is a uniquely decorative collection of steel-framed chairs. Each chair has an irregular shaped, grated back that differs in size, but uniform in their light minimalistic nature. They are practical in their uniformity but playful in the family of ironic figures. The designer wanted to evoke the feeling of a family sitting around a table, each member with a different shape and personality but together live in harmony. This collection includes a wide chair, a tall chair, a short chair, a normal chair, and a stool so each member of the family is able to pick and choose their favorite chair or switch around depending on their mood for the day. The chair are also made available with a white cushion on the seat for extra comfort.
