The Apps Chair is the result of Richard Hutten’s first design efforts for Dutch furniture company Artifort, whose name comes from the coupling of “art and “comfort”. The aptly named App Chair gets its name from the iPhone applications that inspired the shape and design of the chair and sofa, named 1.0 and 2.0 respectively. The chair is constructed with a wooden frame wrapped in supportive foam and available in single and dual color schemes.
