Wan. Naoto fukasawa.

Blog Widget by LinkWithin

The Wan lamp by Naoto Fukasawa sits on the floor, shelf, or table like a bowl, which is where the name “wan” meaning bowl in Japanese comes from. The light indirectly illuminates the ceiling and wall by and can be placed at an angle thanks to the sand-like iron particles inside the shell when you shift the body weight. The Wan emits a vague ring of light in a soft gradation at the thick rim. Developed for Yamagiwa, this adorable light is made of polycarbonate and aluminum.
