First launched at the Salone del Mobile in 2012, the DALA collection by Stephen Burks drew widespread attention for its unique design and its revolutionary new environmental friendly fiber. The DALA accessories range, launched the following year, garnered a prestigious Wallpaper* Design award. But 2014 brings what may be the most exciting development yet, the launch of the DALA Loveseat, a sprawling circular sunbed that captures the essence of barefoot luxury.

Delightfully laid-back and unpretentious, the Loveseat rests directly on the ground, its ample cushion supported by hi-tech Batyline® fabric, its cosy array of pillows practically begging you to jump in and get comfy. Like the rest of the DALA collection, it features an innovative frame of expanded aluminum mesh through which strands of DEDON’s lustrous innovative fiber are woven. A built-in table with swiveling teak tabletop brings convenience and an added touch of color and texture, without taking up space.

Similar in size to ORBIT and SWINGREST, two other examples of DEDON’s successful sunbed typology, the DALA Loveseat is lightweight and easy to move around the deck or patio. It rotates on rollerblade wheels, needing just a gentle push to turn it towards the sun or change the view. But while the Loveseat is no less iconic than the other sunbeds in the DEDON portfolio, it is decidedly more colorful and eclectic. Available in three vibrant colorways, Fire, Stone and Grass, the DALA Loveseat is truly a welcome new addition to any Outdoor Living Room.
